Personal Paparazzi
For me, a photo is about creating reaction. It should move you, act as a catalyst and spark a discussion. I crave that moment when someone sees his or her own image in a photo and says, “Wait? Is that really me?”
Photography has pushed me in so many different directions – from the Egyptian Sahara to the northern hills of Thailand to the mysterious corners of some of the world’s most beautiful bars. I love a neat single malt, loud laughter and when the rain finally stops in Portland. Most of all, I love capturing a personal moment through a lens and trapping it as a gift forever.
